Hypermer Volt 4000 helps disperse conductive carbon more uniformly on electrode materials to improve capacity and protect the battery from degradation during charge and discharge events. It is especially effective at high C-rates.

The viscosity of commercially available carbon black slurries in NMP were explored upon addition of Hypermer Volt 4000. A reduction in viscosity was observed in all cases.
